Director of Partnership

Overview

Are you passionate about building meaningful relationships and creating lasting community impact? TEDxStLouis is looking for a Director of Partnership to lead our fundraising efforts, including corporate partnerships, donor engagement, and grant opportunities. Whether you’re an experienced fundraiser or simply eager to learn and grow, we’ll provide the guidance and support you need to thrive in this important role.

This is your chance to work with an inspiring team, grow your skills, and play a vital role in ensuring TEDxStLouis has the resources to share the transformative ideas that make our community extraordinary.

Responsibilities

Lead Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute plans to meet annual revenue goals through corporate sponsorships, individual donations, grants, and creative campaigns.
Build Partnerships: Cultivate new corporate and community relationships while strengthening connections with existing sponsors and donors.
Engage Donors: Oversee donor stewardship efforts, create recognition programs, and lead annual giving campaigns to inspire ongoing support.
Support Event Fundraising: Work closely with event teams to integrate fundraising strategies into our TEDx events.
Track Progress: Use donor management tools to monitor fundraising performance, track donor relationships, and ensure transparency in reporting.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who:

Has 5+ years of fundraising or donor relations experience, with a proven track record of securing sponsorships, grants, and individual gifts.
Thrives in building relationships with corporate partners, donors, and foundations.
Communicates effectively and inspires diverse audiences.
Has experience managing donor databases and CRM tools (or is eager to learn).
Is strategic, collaborative, and driven to align fundraising efforts with our mission.

Bonus if you’re familiar with TEDx events, the St. Louis community, or nonprofit event fundraising!

Responsibilities

Develop and manage TEDxStLouis’ communication strategy across digital, print, and media channels.
Oversee social media platforms, email newsletters, press releases, and website content.
Lead a team of volunteers to create consistent and engaging storytelling.
Partner with event and leadership teams to promote upcoming programs and share post-event highlights.
Build and maintain relationships with media, community partners, and sponsors.
Ensure alignment with TEDx brand guidelines and tone.

Join TEDxStLouis as Director of Operations! Help Build the Infrastructure That Powers Ideas Worth Sharing

Overview

Are you passionate about building systems, leading teams, and making organizations run smoothly? TEDxStLouis is looking for a Director of Operations to oversee the volunteer program, core staff coordination, and technology systems that keep our mission-driven organization moving forward.

Whether you're a seasoned operations professional or someone with a strong organizational mindset ready to grow into the role, we'll provide the collaboration and support you need to make a real impact. This is a key leadership position that touches every part of how TEDxStLouis functions.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and strategic direction to the volunteer coordination team, supporting the people who manage day-to-day volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and recognition.
Guide and support the core staff management function, ensuring the team has clear direction, resources, and alignment with organizational goals.
Manage the technology and digital team that support the organization, including event management platforms, CRM systems, email, and collaboration tools.
Develop and refine operational processes and workflows across the organization, ensuring efficiency and clear documentation through SOPs and volunteer handbooks.
Collaborate closely with the Executive Director and department leads across Programs, Communications, Production, and Development.
